“I’m a single working mom of three children. I do not have any family in the area to help. I make a great effort to work as much as I can but I just had an expensive car repair and that’s all it takes to get behind on my already very tight budget. This help would mean that my youngest does not get over looked or feel left out. It will be such a relief to have her birthday covered despite my circumstances. “The last few years have been super rough on me both medically and emotionally as well as been super hard on my kids. I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in 2022 and reached remission after a year of harsh chemotherapy in 2023. The chemo put me into heart failure at the age of 34. It also caused me to have memory issues, liver issues, GI issues, and most recently a few days ago I underwent an MRI of my brain and I was told that I have Cavernoma on my brain that is bleeding and could be contributing to my vision, memory issues, head aches. Money has been super tight and we are barely making ends meet for bills. Your help would be greatly appreciated as it would give my daughter a sense of normalcy even if only for a day. My kids are used to me being their everything and doing everything for them but in the last couple of years all of that has had to change due to my medical issues. “I’m a stay at home mom of 3 kids. My daughter had a heart transplant so I’m her full time caregiver. She has many appointments and therapies and gets sick so often that she isn’t able to go to school, so I also homeschool. My son is 4 and such a good little supporter for his sister, tagging along to her appointments, being patient and concerned for her. Money is always tight with all of my daughter’s medical expenses and traveling so far for her care. This year my husband went through a job change which caused us to get really behind on bills with the gap in paychecks, followed by my daughter needing two out of state surgeries. I feel like we’re just in survival mode trying to play catch up with our finances and it’s been really stressful.
